As I have done with all of the photography genres that we offer, I looked around the local search results to see what was out there. Once again, just as I had found with photoshoots for senior portraits, families, engagements, and more, 99% of what I saw looked exactly the same.
I always want to be different! Even when that means it will be a tougher marketing challenge for us and take a little bit longer for our company to grow. We know we will be happy with where things go and that we are truly creating something different from the rest of the pack. If you like what I have to offer, we will be the go-to photographer.
Take the word “boudoir” for instance. Does it really fit with what we offer? No, not really. But it is the buzz marketing word that most people will recognize. Boudoir technically means that it’s about the bedroom—the endless photos I am sure you have seen on every website of a woman lying on a bed.
What we do is Fine Art. We want to create pieces of art that would feel right at home in an art gallery or hanging in your home. And the best part is that they will be of you!
